Interesting. I'd just crassly assume that someone from his line of work who thought he deserved to be in politics, and ended up being one of the most embarrassing governors in history would be in favor of torture, just out of a mix of pure left over roid rage and bad memories.

Well, it does make him look rather stupid for assuming the national discussion on waterboarding is in regards to confession...

Honestly, there's so many good and intelligent reasons for opposing waterboarding, I don't know why anyone would go off in that direction and make themselves look like they haven't researched the subject at all.
